SGL Carbon Sees Return To Net Profit In 2010

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)--German graphite rods and carbon product company SGL Carbon SE (SGL.XE) Thursday said it expects to return to net profit in 2010, after swinging to a net loss in 2009.

The company also plans to halve short-time work this year. In addition, it said it expects sustainable cost savings of between EUR20 million and EUR25 million in 2010.
