| Talbros sets up 2 new Gasket manufacturing Plants |
Mumbai: Talbros Automotive Components Limited recently started its fourth Gasket manufacturing Plant at Sitargunj, Uttrakhand, a notified Industrial Area. In addition to this, Nippon Leakless Talbros Pvt.Ltd., in which the Talbros holds 40% equity has expanded its production capacities by setting up a new plant for manufacturing Non-asbestos Gaskets in Haridwar, a notified industrial zone in Uttrakhand.
Talbros Automotive Components Limited has three other plants located at Faridabad, Pune and Chennai.
Commissioning of Sitargunj Plant will boost overall production capacity, particularly concentrating on supplies to OEMs like Bajaj Auto Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd., and Ashok Leyland Ltd., etc. from Uttrakhand and supplies to the Replacement Market.
Nippon Leakless Talbros Pvt.Ltd., the joint venture company, being single source supplier to Hero Honda will cater to the newly set up Hero Honda Plant in Haridwar from this location.
The company will enjoy excise & other incentives and tax benefits from Sitargunj and Haridwar, as the plants are located in notified industrial zones.
